About Billy's Legacy Foundation

Billy's Legacy Foundation was established in 2007 in honor of Billy Bauernschmidt, to celebrate his memory and dedication to what was important to him and to bring our family and friends together.

In an effort to carry on Billy's legacy, we have taken an active part in aiding in the creation of a space for young teens at Trinity Assembly of God in West Chester, PA. In June of 2008, the space was completed and dedicated as "The Summit" in Billy's memory. This area has been utilized as a training facility for Master's Commission students preparing for a future in mentoring young people. The Summit is preparing to host an after-school program for students ages 11 to 16 in the West Chester, PA area. Just one example of the growing nature of the program!

The Billy's Legacy Foundation will continue to offer scholarships for The Summit program and others like it in an effort to assist with the financial barriers that may limit dreams and opportunities of our youth today.
